In order to provide financial help to the film employees suffering from diseases, the Government of Karnataka set up a fund and entrusted Karnataka Chalanchitra Academy to avail it to the film fraternity.

The president of the academy Mr.Suneel Puranik assures full support to the members of KFMA in extending the benefits of this scheme to members who may be suffering from Cancer, Cardio disorders, Kidney disorders and to members who maybe suffering from long term ailments.
